Creating a simple one page website with an opt in form.

  Hi there.

  I trying to work out how I can create a simple one page website, which has a load of writing describing the free ebook I am offereing, with an opt in form on that page to grab peoples emails so I can send them the ebook. How do I do this? It seems there is no plug in or widget feature for this and everything is in the blog style where I just wanted a simple page with some sales copy and a capture form.

  I think your best option for the sign up form is probably a contact form that you can grab email addresses from and add to your own mailing list:
