creating button that autofills on form

    Good day. I am relatively new to WordPress and am not a programmer, so please excuse my ignorance. I have buttons below item photos on a site. Each button has a unique item number (i.e. photo 1 will say ‘Item #0001, photo 2 will say Item #0002 etc). I have linked these buttons to a contact form so that when you click on the button, a contact form opens in a new window, with fields for name, email contact number and item no. However, I would like the item number to be automatically filled in on the form. How can I do this?

    I’m not sure if that is possible with out hiring a developer to write you custom code. What site are you working on? You can also consider asking the team that built the contact form integration you selected for assistance as well.
