Creating email address at my domain

I’d like to create a new email address, in the form (email visible only to moderators and staff), the domain name being one hosted by wordpress. Can anyone advise me how to set this up? Thanks.

Hi there,
You can set up Email Forwarding here at WordPress.com, to use a new email address with your custom domain name.
If you’d like full email service, you can also link email service from another email provider to your custom domain name. We have a guide for setting that up here: Add Email

I have 2 domains, one of which was registered with WordPress, the other of which was originally registered through Hostgator. I’m able to set up email forwarding for the domain which I first registered with you (elbowgreaserecordsdotcom), but the domain which was originally registered with Hostgator (tomlernerdotcom) states on the WordPress site that email forwarding is not possible because the domain uses “custom servers.”Thinking that maybe Hostgator could help, I’ve contacted them to see whether they could help me set up an email address at this domain and forward it. They told me that their servers are not involved with the domain, suggested that I update my MX records, and sent me this link:
http://leafdns.com/index.cgi?testid=F17FEFE6So, can you help me with this?

Hi Tom,
I see what you mean. Your domain tomlerner.com had a custom DNS record that made our system think it already had email service set up elsewhere.
I removed that custom DNS record, so now you can set up email forwarding for that domain, too. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi Rachel, Thanks for your help getting my email forwarding set up. Another question: I’ve paid to upgrade my site, and I’d like to change the lined white paper background to a light solid color. I want to keep the theme that I have, if possible, but I want to change the background color of the space within the theme. How might I do that? If I can’t do so within my current theme (Greyzed), what would it take to set up a custom theme? Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,
You can use Custom CSS (part of your Custom Design upgrade) to customize any theme you’re using, including changing that lined paper background in the Greyzed theme.
