Creating Menu for Photo Galleries

Let me begin by saying that I know this should be a pretty simple situation, but I am having trouble understanding what to do. I am a photographer and my site is for music news, reviews, interviews and live music photography. Here’s what I currently have. Posts are on the main page when you visit the blog. These are for the articles, reviews, etc. I have the following tabs (menus). Home, About, Contact. I do understand how to create a custom menu I think. What I want to accomplish is this: I want a tab that is titled Galleries. Under that would be, to begin, ‘Live Photos’ or something like that. Then the viewer would click on that and be brought to a page with different artists listed. The viewer would click on a artist name and that in turn would open a gallery for that artist. I guress my confusion lies within how to get to this tab in custom menus and how to link the artists name with a photo gallery. My site is upclosemusicnews.wordpress.com. I have seen many examples of what I want, but I just don’t know how to get there. Any light that can be shed on this for me would be greatly appreciated. I’m sure that this is fairly simple, but I just need a shove in the right direction.
