Creating navigation tabs
-
I want to create tabs across that will display across the top of my blog. Do I need to upgrade to do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, that is exactly what I’d like to create. It looks like my theme doesn’t support that type of menu, which is a shame b/c I really like my theme. Is there any way to add that capability through a widget or something?

The more I look at other themes, the more I want to keep mine, which is Dawn to Dusk. Is it possible to add another menu option to that theme?

I just upgraded, but don’t see how it differs from the basic membership. If the upgrade doesn’t provide a way to create tabs across the top, I’ll cancel the upgrade and return to basic membership.

I’m afraid that isn’t possible with Custom Design. If you want a horizontal navigation menu, you’ll have to try another theme.
I can refund your Premium Upgrade if you like. However, you might take a look at what comes with Premium and make sure that you don’t want it.
WordPress.com Premium includes:
- A Free Domain
- Custom Design
- VideoPress
- Space Upgrade
- Ad-Free
For more info, you can refer to this page: http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/pro-bundle/
Please let me know if you have further questions.

I did get a refund, thanks. At the moment my blog’s template provides what I need with the exception of limited menu options. I specifically want to create the horizontal navigation menu. It looks like the Promenade template might be an option. Is that the case? Is it easy to create on that template?

I tried the preview function. It seemed like that template has a lot more flexibility, although it wasn’t clear to me how to create the horizontal navigation menu. Will you point me in the right direction. If it’s a straight-forward and simple process, I’ll make the purchase.
