creating yearly version of web pages and links

  Each year I have to essentially duplicate a page of my web site and all of the linked pages for the coming year. We keep the previous year’s page and data intact as a record and backup so that people can access old information. I have done this by duplicating the past year’s page and each of the associated pages and then updating all the links. This is very time consuming and I am guessing that there must be tools to make this process more efficient. What I would like is a way to create a new page from an old page and also create new versions of all the linked pages at the same time. Does such a thing exist or is there a better approach?
