Credit card payment failed due to "unsupported currency"

  How can I pay from Germany (24 €) with german Amex card? The system tells me that the payment failed due to unsupported currency.

  WordPress.com doesn’t take Amex, I don’t think. Try Visa or Mastercard or Paypal.
