Critical Error
-
My website is getting critical errors whenever I try to access any part of it (Installed Plugins, Tools, Settings, Pages, etc.). I did not get an email with a link to start the website in safe mode. There is no hosting option under Tools, and clicking anything under that tab results in a critical error.
I chatted with the AI chatbot who told me to request connecting to humans, but doing so has resulted in no replies on the live chat.
The logs for my website include a fatal error referencing the ConvertKit Plugin, but as I cannot disable the plugin myself, the AI chatbot has stated I’ll need human support to do so.
PHP Fatal error: Cannot declare trait ConvertKit_APIConvertKit_API_Traits, because the name is already in use in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/integrate-convertkit-wpforms/vendor/convertkit/convertkit-wordpress-libraries/src/class-convertkit-api-traits.php on line 13
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As clearly indicated, the problem is caused by the plugin Kit (formerly ConvertKit) for WPForms.
You must contact support of that plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/integrate-convertkit-wpforms/

@staartmees I appreciate your reply (even if it is a bit rudely worded). Like my post says, I cannot access any of the plugin settings on my end, but I did post on the plugin forum in case I was missing something. Their advice is to work with my website host (in this case, WordPress) to remove or deactivate the plugins, which was the same advice the WordPress AI Chatbot gave me.
This returns me to my original question of getting in touch with human support that could help me disable and/or remove plugins from my website in its current state.

My God, N-nothing is rudely worded, you must contact support of that plugin as we can’t help with third party plugins.
-
@staartmees As clearly stated, I did reach out to support via their forums, and their advice was to work with the host (in this case, WordPress) to remove the plugin as they are unable to make any changes to the website themselves.
How do I go about removing the plugin if you are unable to remove it, I am unable to remove it, and the plugin creator is unable to remove it?

Hi there, I’ve gone ahead and flagged your thread for staff attention and assistance and also to note your experience trying to connect to a human via live chat.
And while it doesn’t help solve this issue, I do want to bring your attention to the following note about the ConvertKit plugin on the incompatible plugins support page https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/incompatible-plugins/#my-plugin-says-the-database-doesnt-support-a-character-set-what-do-i-do
-
@justjennifer Thank you! I appreciate you sharing the article and flagging the thread.
Do you know when they’ll be in touch or if there’s another route I should be trying to reach them through? My client is looking to have the website repaired as soon as possible, and I’m afraid if we’re not able to get the issue resolved, we’ll have to initiate a chargeback on the card and swap to SquareSpace or Wix, etc.
Thank you again!

Hello again @taylorbeaven they have a queue of threads waiting for them, so bumping a thread tends to push it down in their queue.
Since part of the issue you described was the inability to contact human support in Live Chat, the only thing I can think to suggest while you’re waiting for forum staff to reply is try going the contact route again but use a different browser to the one you normally use. Make sure you are logged in to the site owner account when you do so.

If it still doesn’t work for you, you’ll need to be patient for them to reply here.
