critical error after mirgrating

  So I migrated my wordpress website today and I am getting a critical error when trying to access the page. I also cannot log to my sites dashboard.

  The steps I took to to the migration:
  1. Coppied the public_html folder to my local computer
  2. Copied my wordpress database tomy local computer
  3. Moved my domain to a new host
  4. Created a new database at my new host
  6. Uploaded the content of my wordpress database to it.
  7. Uploaded my public_html backup to the new host
  8. Updated the wp-config.php file to point to my new database(no typos)

  Now it does not work and I get a critical error. I assume this may be a problem with connecting to the database. Sicne my wordpress site shows that I have no pages on my website…. Did I forget to do anything? Where to look for help on an issue like that? PLEASE HELP!

  I don’t see any WordPress.com sites under your account here.

  What is the URL of the site with the problem?

  Hey, thank you for your respionse.

  The Url is: kalajanowska.com

  When I try to login to wordpress it takes me to: https://wordpress.com/pages/drafts/kalajanowska.com
  I can see daily visits etc there. and my website being listed in the top left corner with a red question mark.

  Hey I just wanted to let you know I have somehow managed to fix it. I’m not sure what did it in the end but I assuem it was some issues with permission settings in my new host.
