Critical Error – Website Unaccessible

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello. I was in the middle of connecting to the WooCommerce plugin and our website completely crashed. I am and admin for the website and I’m unable to login. Those who are visiting our site are also getting the ‘critcial error’ message. Can you please help me in restoring the website so it’s back up and running?

I’ve tried looking into the troubleshooting help guides but I’m not familiar with FTPs and uninstalling plugins. A lot of the instructions ask me to install programs and I have no idea what to do. Any help would be much appreciated so we can get the site back up and running!

The site I need help with is q10equityineducation.com. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

  • Hi there!

I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you here as your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

On WordPress.com things do not work the same way, so I’d suggest posting to the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere; we can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
