CSS stylesheets unable to load using Hypothesis sidebar
-
I have two WordPress sites (lat507wb.wordpress.com, cc302wb.wordpress.com) which I created for the purpose of annotation exercises for students using the web annotation tool Hypothesis (web.hypothes.is). In the last couple of days, when visitors have attempted to access the site using the Hypothesis proxy (e.g. https://via.hypothes.is/https://lat507wb.wordpress.com/), the CSS sheets are unable to load and the browser throws a bunch of console errors. The site functions normally without the proxy.
If anyone has any suggestions about why this is happening, I would glad to hear them!

Hi there,
This can only be due to how the proxy is set up – it’s likely trying to load the style sheets from a server location on our end that does not exist or that’s not available via the path defined in the proxy any more.
You’ll need to contact support at Hypothesis for help with this as the problem is not with your site’s style sheets, but with how Hypothesis is trying to access them.
