Current page not highlighted

The probllem is that this is a site that is going to have multiple pages of fairly intense text. At the moment althoough the links wrok well there is nothing to indicate to the visitor, which page he is on, after he clicks on the page that is it, do you think I should add a main heading to the page to indicate which page it is ?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

For a text-heavy site, clear navigation cues are essential. Yes—a visible page heading is a strong idea, but you should also highlight the active menu item so visitors always know where they are.

A combination of both works best:

    • Active/current page highlight in the navigation menu
    • Clear page title/header at the top of each page
    • Optional breadcrumb trail for deeper sections

This improves usability and reduces confusion, especially on content-rich websites.

If you’d like help refining the structure, navigation, or WordPress setup for a better reading experience, I’d be happy to assist.

Thank you Tammana, highlighting the current page sounds great. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be welcome.
