Current page not highlighted
-
The probllem is that this is a site that is going to have multiple pages of fairly intense text. At the moment althoough the links wrok well there is nothing to indicate to the visitor, which page he is on, after he clicks on the page that is it, do you think I should add a main heading to the page to indicate which page it is ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thank you Tammana, highlighting the current page sounds great. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be welcome.

Hi there, my name is Pat and I’m a Happiness Engineer with WordPress.com
Great question, and yes, for a text-heavy multi-page site, giving visitors a clear sense of where they are is really important. Here are three things worth considering:
Page titles
The simplest approach is making sure each page has a visible title. Since your theme uses the Site Editor, your Pages template likely already includes a Title block, which automatically displays each page’s title at the top. If titles aren’t showing up, you can check this by going to Appearance > Editor > Templates > Pages. More on the Pages template here: https://wordpress.com/support/templates/edit-the-page-template/
Navigation menu
A clear navigation menu is probably the most important thing for a site like yours. Your theme’s header should already have a Navigation block in it, which you can edit via Appearance > Editor. Each of your pages can have its own menu item so visitors always know where they are in relation to the rest of the site and can jump between sections easily. Breadcrumbs
For a deeply structured site with multiple pages of text, breadcrumbs are well worth adding. They show visitors a trail of where they are, like “Home > Chapter 2 > Section 3”, and let them navigate up to parent pages without using the back button. You can add the Breadcrumbs block to your Pages template via the Site Editor so it appears automatically on every page. Used together, these three things should give your visitors a solid sense of orientation throughout the site.
