Custom Audio Uploads
-
So I have been trying to solve this issue for a while and cannot seem to make any head way. I have a custom form using WPForms which allows users to upload their own posts with a file attachment for Featured Image and a Custom Field using ACF for the File upload (Audio). I am able to grab the url using a custom code snippet and it is displaying the url within the audio player, visually looks fine, even inspecting the audio player and digging to the audio source it has the correct source, yet when I press play it doesn’t play the audio. I am displaying the link with another custom snippet as an
<a>tag which takes me to the file located in uploads and plays fine in a new tab with a built in audio player, I would just like an embedded audio player on the post…Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, can provide the code when need be!
Cheers.

Hi it is attached below, you can see that clicking one of the stories I am displaying an embedded audio player above the page. I have taken the
atag out.

The link has been added to the bottom of the page! The url where the audio is stored!
Cheers.

Oh, it looks like your site is hosted on Bluehost, not on WordPress.com so we won’t be able to help with this.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
