Custom domain hosted by Google + Personal Plan (monthly)

    Hi,

    I’m trying to select a custom domain which is registered with Google and add that to a WordPress Personal Plan with a monthly subscription. I can’t seem to do this.

    Each time I select a custom domain, it automatically selects an annual Premium Plan and no other options are available.

    Can you provide instructions on the custom domain + personal plan monthly option?

    Hi there,

    You can select the Personal plan directly from the Plans page:

    https://wordpress.com/plans/monthly/

    After purchasing the plan proceed with the domain connection.

    Thanks for the reply, I was able to complete the upgrade and start the domain connection process.

    I’m looking to keep Google for name server, and update the DNS record instead. This is relatively easy to complete as long as I have the correct data.

    I was looking at your instructions and the CNAME and A lines are unclear with missing data.

    Can you pls clarify:

    CNAME: I should use “autodiscover” for Hostname correct? What is the input for Data field? The instructions says “Handled by WordPress.com”

    A: can you provide details for Hostname and Data inputs?
