Custom Domain not showing

  Hi; I just purchased the upgrade that allows custom domain to be used without your subdomain. Yet I can only see my site using the free subdomain? Can you help me?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It can take 48-72 hours for a brand-new domain to begin working everywhere, but I can assure you that the domain is working on my end here: http://clanceysbeautycentral.com/

  If you’d like, you can force your computer to update the address for your site by “flushing” your computer’s DNS cache. You can find instructions on how to flush your DNS cache here:
  http://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

  If you have any further trouble, please let me know what kind of error message you see when you visit your domain and I’ll be happy to investigate!

  Thanks Rachel; Also do I have to download wordpress? I seem to be able to work with my blog online. The download seems complicated…

  Hi Michele,

  No, you don’t need to download WordPress. That’s only for people who want to host their WordPress blogs themselves with a different website host. Since your blog is hosted here at WordPress.com, you can do everything from your dashboard here. :)
