Custom domain problems – 48 hours later

    I bought custom domains for two of my blogs:

    batancity.wordpress.com
    linksandanchors.wordpress.com

    I followed the instructions for using CNAME records with my domain registration company (www.123-reg.co.uk) and waited 24 hours. It did not work.

    I added the WordPress Name Servers to the records held at 123-reg and waited another 24 hours. Still nothing works.

    I have cleared cookies and cache – to no avail.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    There was just a little problem with the domain mapping — it was set for http://www.batancity.com and http://www.linksandanchors.com (with “www” at the beginning) instead of batancity.com and linksandanchors.com. WordPress.com doesn’t use the “www” at the beginning of custom domains, so it wasn’t recognizing those domain upgrades on your blogs.

    I just fixed that up, and now both custom domains are working on my end. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
