Custom domain sow performance

  Hi, I’m experiencing very slow performance for a custom domain mapped website (a business plan website: beta.develer.com). If we use wordpress.com dashboard everything’s fine, but front and backend (wp-admin) are slow. Investigating further, it seems that worpress.com is slow responding to our server (Time to First Byte > 1 sec.).
  We think that the only thing that can be done is on wordpress.com side: your server seems really very fast, but only when the call is form our server, we get that big delay.
  Do you have some suggestion?
