Custom Font on a wordpress.com blog

  Is it possible to upload a custom font to a wordpress.com blog, and if so, how? If not, what other options do I have?

  While it’s not possible to upload a custom font, with the Custom Design upgrade, you can choose custom fonts from our Typekit collection for the site title, headings, and body text. You can learn more about our custom fonts here:

  If there’s a specific font you’re interested in, just let me know and I can tell you whether it’s part of our Typekit collection.

  Thanks. I’ve looked at the font list, but it doesn’t include Carrosserie – not really a surprise since it’s a font I had to buy.

  What mystifies me is the availability of at least a few font uploaders. Presumably, these do work.

  What sort of WP site do I need in order to support a font uploader? Is it just one that I host myself, or something else?

  To use your own fonts you would indeed need a self-hosted WordPress.org site. You can learn more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here.
