Custom Payment gateway in WordPress

  Hi,
  Can i add a custom payment gateway if i purchase website under ‘Business Plan’ in WordPress. I am struggling with this issue as all the website providers have a limitation on the payment gateway. Either it is too costly or not adequate. I am planning this for a ecommerce site.

  Can you give us a few more details on the type and volume of transactions you would require in this gateway? In what way are they running into the limitations that other webhosts have?
