Custom Roles and Permission

    Hello everyone.

    Is possible to use custom permissions and roles on wordpress sites hosted one wordpress.com, either through plugins or editing code? If so, are there any plugins that can be be recommended or the very least be mentioned which plugins offers this kind of functionality.

    I need to be able to make individual listing, viewing and editing permissions, so certain posts/pages/categories can only be listed, viewed or edited if one has the correct permission (through a role).

    The User Role Plugin allows custom roles:

    User Role Editor

    Plugins can only be installed on WordPress.com if you have the Business Plan Upgrade:

    They are usually used for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
