Custom subdomain glitched (no content, no selected theme)
-
I have configured my blog (after an export and moving from hosted WP to WP.com) to use not my username url (tcattd.wordpress.com) but a new name: itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com
Here you can see that url assigned as primary: http://prntscr.com/ieoedn
But the subdomain itself shows no content at all: http://prntscr.com/ieoewe
And not even my selected theme: http://prntscr.com/ieof8fThere’s published content for my blog: http://prntscr.com/ieogc7
If i go to Domains in my settings, i can only see my username as subdomain: http://prntscr.com/ieofj5
http://prntscr.com/ieofvgThe account subdomain just glitched from nothing, and i just noticed today when i tried to use my blog.
Can you help me, please?

Let’s ask Staff to assist you with sorting this out. I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Hi there,
I see just before posting here you changed your site address from tcattd.wordpress.com to itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com, and then immediately after you changed itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com to itsaboutactitudxyz.wordpress.com. That is what caused the problem. You did the second address change before the first address change was fully completed, interrupting the process and causing your site to be assigned both addresses at once.
I’ve fixed that now and you should be able to access all your content now at itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com
itsaboutactitudxyz.wordpress.com is still in your account as well, but that site is empty.

First of all: thanks for the help. It’s working now.
Now, i should have mention before that i did those changes because i was trying to fix another glitch that WP.com did before.
Sadly, i have no screenshots of that. But yesterday, wheni visited my blog at https://itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com, WP.com showed something like this:
https://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=itsaboutactitudabcThat url obviously doesn’t exists, but for my reserved subdomain, WP.com was showing exactly the same screen: http://prntscr.com/if3y57
When i saw that, i went to my site’s config, and did what you saw: tried to change it back to tcattd.wordpress.com and then back to itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com, to see if that solved that glitch.
It didn’t.
Then i tried to make a third url change (itsaboutactitudxyz), but the site keep showing nothing. At that point i contacted you, guys, here.
Hope that info can help you further, @kokkieh.Again, thanks for the help with this issue.

Added the modlook tag just to let you know that extra bit of info, in case that can help you debug the initial issue (the one i mentioned in the previous post).
Can remove it if that’s not needed any longer.
And thanks again for the time and the help ;)

They typo-page showing up means you likely mistyped the address, but given all the changes since it’s impossible to confirm at this point.
Happy to help.

As i said, i used that fake url on purpose, just to show you what type of screen i got at my subdomain (itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com) when i tried to use it.
I save no screenshot of that glitch when it occurred. Just wen to my admin panel i tried to fix it myself switching domains, and… i already told what happened next.I know i used a mistyped domain in that post, as i told here: http://prntscr.com/ifkhn1
I use it just just for the example of the type of screen i got when i tried to use my blog. Because i took no screenshots. Sorry. And i couldn’t mistype the url in the first place, because i entered to wordpress.com directly, went to my admin panel, and there i clicked the “visit site” button. There i got that screen showing:
<<itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com doesn’t exist
Do you want to register itsaboutactitud.wordpress.com?>>So something glitched, and i did nothing before (i didn’t even use the blog at all those days after i imported my content from a hosted WP to WP.com). Glitched by itself, alone, for my primary blog url.
Anyways, hope that info helps you, guys, to check if there was any other issue around it.
I’m completely glad you took the time to help me.
