custom theme using another host

Hey
Been trying to figure out FTP hosting to upload custom theme. I understand you have supporting documents but I’m still having some problems. I’ve signed up with another website host (freehostia.com) and am using FileZilla to access FTP. Is there a reason that I am not seeing any of my websites (craigswidler.me) information appear my FileZilla Remote site. I am trying upload a custom theme I purchased but am having serious problems. I thought by using another host (freehostia) I would be able to do this?
Do you have any suggestions or please can someone help me figure this out?

Your blog at http://craigswidler.me/ is hosted here at WordPress.com. Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
You can move your domain craigswidler.me to your self-hosted WordPress website with your new host by following this guide: Move Your Domain to Another Host

Have done all of the above (using blue host).
Still really struggling (in fact- very frustrating) to install a custom third party theme. I have changed the DNS to bluehost, I still cannot find any way to install and activate a downloaded theme.
Please let me know what steps I should take.
