  My uploaded themes are not showing up. I have a GoDaddy domain (naumanntest.com) with GoDaddy hosting, and my site shows up fine, but when I upload a file via FTP, it doesn’t show up in the theme database on my WordPress admin panel.

  How can I fix this or verify my GoDaddy hosting is properly connected to WordPress?

  Your domain is pointed to your WordPress.com blog.

  You’ll need to have the domain direct back to your GoDaddy hosting account and install WordPress from http://wordpress.org/ on your hosting account if you have no already done so.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.org has complete documentation and support sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at http://codex.wordpress.org/ and http://wordpress.org/support/

  1. I have already installed WordPress on GoDaddy.

  2. So, what steps should I take from here? Redirect the DNS to my GoDaddy WordPress? How do I do that?

  You’ll need to ask GoDaddy for the name servers on your hosting account.

  Then, you can change the name servers on naumann4cusd.com following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/
