Customization Trouble

  Beginner trying to figure out how to customize my page here. I figured out how to change my background and that went great. The only problem is that I can no hardly read the title of my blog. I tried to change the color to white through the customization option and it said the changes had been saved. When I refreshed my blog, everything was the same as before. Any tips?

  Just saw the thing above the color options saying it was just feature of custom design that I had to buy. Sorry to bother.
