Customize a toggle to automatically expand when open

How to customize a toggle to open the specific section when referred to from another page?
Currently, I used 3 toggles of 3 sections each on a page and I linked those title sections to the home page. I want the specific toggle section to expand automatically when a user clicks the specific link to that section from the home page.
As a workaround, I tried inserting an anchor HTML on each toggle section but that didn’t force the toggle to expand automatically.
Is there any other way?
Kindly walk me through it.
