Customize of Twenty Fourteen Theme

  Hi there, I’m trying to customize the Twenty Fourteen theme to the way that I like it but after I finish changing the colour of the side bar, and fonts and publish it, the layout on the site still looks like the demo but with my header. Can someone please help me out?
