Customize Tool Bar

  Last night I deleted my home page to create a new one. I started to created the new one and then went the the customized tool bar to add it as the home page but that tool bar is not showing up for me now. If i’m on the admin dashboard for my page and go to the top left hand corner blog name it gives you a drop down. From here you choose customize where it takes you to a new page which give you a tool bar on the right hand side. You can choose colors, home page, etc. This is the bar that is not working. I go to that page and i get a blank page and on the right it says loading decision tools but never actually loads. Please help!

  First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/

  If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

  If it is, please do these four things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

  I tried all of the above and still no.

  I opened a new blog and tried to go to the customize page and I can get there. It seems to be specific the leighspivey.wordpress.com

  Ok, would you please update to Firefox 19.0.2 and see if the issue still happens?

  And this is definitely happening on leighspivey.wordpress.com?

  I can’t reproduce the issue with Firefox 19.0.2 on my Mac, but I’m going to boot up my PC to see if I can get it to happen with Firefox on Windows.

  Yes, it’s happening for leighspivey.wordpress.com. Since it’s not happening to you would you be able to reset the front page to the home page? That’s what I’m trying to get to so that he 404 error goes away on the blog.

  Also, you can do that yourself without the customizer from Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard.
