Customizer keeps reloading every time I try to edit something

    Hi,

    I want to do a complete rehaul / refresh on my site but every time I load the customizer and click on anything it just reloads without allowing me to change anything. I am going around in circles with nothing to show and no changes!

    Hi Diane, the older customizer manages items from the left. Clicking from the right won’t do anything but possibly change pages for you. Or, if you click on something and see a pencil icon, it will take you to that section in the customizer.

    Did you perhaps mean to edit your page instead? Also, can you send a link to your site and let us know what you hope to change? We’ll check it out and point you in the right direction for support.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. Was trying to update and change it a bit, like the name of the site etc, still going around in circles this morning, very frustrating, it didn’t used to be so challenging! To the point I started looking at other sites to start from scratch.
    I want to make my home page my blog page and change the menu to reflect this, Spent some time redesigning my ‘about’ page which I was happy with…

    I can see the home page currently shows the latest blog posts.

    To change the site title and menus, go to Customize but use the options on the left:

    “Site Identity” will have your title.

    And you can redo the menu under Menu Options:
