Customizing Theme, but the website still says private

I’m new to wordpress and i’ve been working on creating my website. I’ve edited a theme, and when I go to ‘my website’ from my wordpress page, everything looks perfect. My website name is http://www.wonderingstardust.’ But when I go to search ‘www.wonderingstardust.com’ I see a normal page that says ‘wonderingstardust51898 just another wordpress site.’ With a basic theme, and none of my settings. When I search ‘www.wanderingstardust.wordpress.com’ it says my site is private. I already changed my settings to make my website public. I want the website I see when I click on my wordpress profile to be the one that shows up on the internet. Do you know how I could do that, or where I went wrong?

Perhaps that site has nothing to do with you? Your correct address appears to be https://wanderingstardustcom.wordpress.com/
