Dark Wood theme has lost the dark wood background
-
Hi, I’ve been exploring the new Dark Wood theme and uploaded another background pic to see what it would look like. Then I removed it as it didn’t look right. Now I want the Dark wood image to come back but it seems to have disappeared completely.
In ‘Background’ under the Appearance menu, the options to upload and customise seem to have disappeared completely, how can I get the theme back to its original state?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The theme has the option of uploading your own background image. Have you tried clicking this option?
Remove Background Image
This will remove the background image. You will not be able to retrieve any customizations. -
Yes, that’s what I did. I then removed it, by clicking “Remove background image” but now I can’t get it back to how it originally was, with the dark wood background.
I noticed it said “You will not be able to retrieve any customizations” but I didn’t think I would not be able to get the original theme back?
This is how it looksnow:
http://thedarkestlight.wordpress.com/Its basically there but without the wood!
How can I get the wooden background back? :'(

I believe you need to force clear you browser as you are seeing a cached version. I’m using Firefox 3.6 and I can see a dark wood background on your blog.

To restore the original look, you need to go to Appearance > Custom Header. As you’ve noticed, this section has disappeared. There was a problem with the theme’s custom header image, so my guess is staff are working on it and the section will reappear once the problem is fixed.

Timethief, I’m using Safari, but I’ve just checked it on Firefox and I’m seeing the same.
Panaghiotisadam: thanks, i didn’t think this theme has a custom header option anyway(?) but it has a background option.
Anway, i’ll let WP know there’s something wrong with the theme.
Thanks

Hello again,
This is the theme description:
Dark Wood by Nischal Maniar
A gorgeous three-column theme with a dark wood background, two widget-ready sidebars, and nested comments.
Options: Widgets | Extras | Background | Typekit Fonts | Edit CSSTags: dark, brown, three-columns, fixed-width, threaded-comments, sticky-post, custom-header, custom-background, rtl-language-support
It’s only been recently added and I’m sure that any feedback you give to Staff will be welcomed.

Thanks but I don’t know why you’ve bolded custom header, my problem was never about the header but about the background. I’ve emailed support, its probably just a bug in the theme!

Please read replies more carefully. The option for restoring the original background was in the Custom Header section, which is temporarily unavailable.
