Dashboard and Domain name

  Can I use my dashboard and create posts and pages option, even after getting the domain name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  yes you will always use the dashboard of the base blog when you make Posts and such – you only see the mapped domain name when you visit the blog (your-site.wordpress.com – when you make posts – – your-site.com – when you visit the site)
