Dashboard functionality stunted
-
Hey all,
I’m having trouble with my Dashboard. It is not loading correctly. All the applets (recent comments, stats, quick press, etc.) on it have been “loading” for hours now.
Furthermore when I try to insert an image, the process for uploading a pic takes me out of of the “new Post” page and makes that upload panel fullpage. Once uploaded, It refuses to even give me the option to insert said (or any actually) picture.
Anyone else having issues? Everything was fine yesterday. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Based on your description, it sounds like you don’t have a good internet connection or at least not a good connection to WordPress.com. As a first step, can you try clearing browser cache and cookies?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cacheIf that doesn’t help, your troubles could be due to local network problems. Sometimes resetting the router helps. Sometimes trying a different browser helps. And sometimes the problem is due to firewall or anti-virus software and you can try looking for an option in those types of programs to whitelist or trust *.wordpress.com sites.

In all likelihood, my ISP was having a bad day. The solution: Download a program and publish posts from desktop. Tough luck if you need to deal with “comments”.
Thanks for your help/input designsimply
