Dashboard icons

  Hi. I have trouble with my Dashboard. I recently started working on a site that existed for 12 years. However the icons on the Dashboard are somewhat different from the classical WordPress dashboard. For example I dont see Appearance, Plugins or Users icons, but I see additional icons that are not commonly found on the Dashboard like Portfolios, Events and etc. Can you help me how can I add missing icons to the Dashboard? thank you

  Hi there,

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.

  If by “Dashboard” you’re referring to WordPress.com ->My Sites, that is the WordPress.com interface, to which you have access via the Jetpack plugin, and it does not show all features available in the WordPress dashboard. It only shows features that are powered and manageable by WordPress.com/Jetpack.

  To see the other features you need to log into the site’s WP-Admin dashboard directly at http://www.chicagosbmi.com/wp-admin.

  If the missing features you’re asking about is in that dashboard, we cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.
