Dashes in Menu Drop down
-
Hello,
I am trying to learn wordpress, doing so by playing around with this site:
https://searchanddiscoverblog.wordpress.com/
In the drop down for ‘0-Test12’ how can i get rid of the dash that exists before ‘-About’ and the character ‘<‘ that exists before the sub title ‘Contact.’ Please keep in mind, I am currently using the free version of wordpress.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The dash before “About” must have been added inadvertently when you created that menu item, or sometime thereafter. You can fix it by editing the item, or by deleting the item and creating a new one with the correct spelling.
The “<” character is automatically created to indicate the presence of one or more sub-menu items under that item. If possible, it would require CSS customization to remove it. To ask whether or not that would be possible, you may either submit a separate request to the CSS Customization Forum, or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.
