Data and domain transport

    Hi, how are you? So, we at Cria UFMG recently created a new website for us also using the WordPress servers, but we have some doubts… The first one is: is there any way to transport all blog posts, for example, from old site to the new? So we don’t have to post one by one? How can we get the old domain? The new site have a new ‘name’ in the URL, but we believe that the best thing would be to continue with old. How do we make this transition? Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Are you looking at transferring your site and domain here on the WordPress.com platform. Or do you already have a new site built with WordPress hosted elsewhere and you want to move your old site’s contents there?

    I’m asking all these because our platform (WordPress.com) is different than the WordPress software many other hosting providers use to host their clients’ sites.
