Database Cookie that never go away
-
To whom it may concern,
Hi, I am a wordpress user and I use the free account version. Yesterday I found a problem.
This is what happened:I logged into my account and checked how many viewers viewed my website yesterday, then I logged out afterwards. After logging out, I checked my cookies in Safari and there’s a wordpress.com database cookie. I removed it, but it reappears immediately, I tried removing it over and over again and it still appears on my screen. It’s really weird since it never happen until yesterday. Is this normal?
Please reply me when you see this email. And if it really is a hacker problem, I hope this helps
Best,

Hi Ryan,
Sites hosted on WordPress.com make use of cookies for a variety of different purposes. You can learn more about them and how they are used, in this guide:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/cookies/
The presence of cookies doesn’t mean you’ve been hacked, they are there to help WordPress.com perform certain tasks.
It’s important to note that removing or disabling cookies can prevent your site from working correctly.
Come back to me if you have any questions.
