Database Information

    I am trying to figure out the WP Database Name, Database Host and WP Database Prefix for my new.pennhighlands.edu website in order to install a plugin on another site.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    When your site is hosted here at WordPress.com (like your site at http://news.pennhighlands.edu/) there isn’t access to the database or to install new plugins on the site. Those are features of self-hosted sites using the open source software from WordPress.org. You can read more about the differences here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

    WordPress.com sites come with a number of built-in plugins already installed here. If there’s a particular feature you’d like to have on your site, please let me know and I can help you figure out if it’s possible here at WordPress.com. :)
