Deactivating Site

  Hi I need help deactivating my site.
  Every article I read seems outdates as it send me to the privacy page to set my site to private but on the privacy page I can only edit my privacy policy.
  I need to take this site offline or deactivate it asap.
  Please assist

  Only the owner is able to delete a site, https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/, or set a site to private, https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/
