default settings for new page

  Why have all the settings I use for new posts changed? I am a very basic novice and knew how to get things going with the settings – like how to put put the new page into a tree of other pages. Now all the options on my new page have changed. Why did that happen and how do I get my settings left alone?

  Could you please be more specific on what has been changed? Can you please try clearing out your cache?
