  The above website was created by a former member of our organisation. Unfortunately, despite intensive enquiries, we can not find out who created the website. The information contained within is long out of date and gives the false impression that we are no longer in existence. Can anyone help with how to gain access to the site so that we can either edit it or permanently delete it

  There are several ways to restore access to an account, https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  All of these methods require some kind of authentication. we literally have nothing. We have no idea who set this site up
