Delay in typing appearing on the screen

    There is a five second delay between my typing a sentence and it appearing on the screen. So I type a sentence and then have to twiddle my thumbs whilst it gradually appears at a snail’s pace on my screen.
    It’s a bit like a badly dubbed movie, when the actor’s lips move after the words have been spoken.
    It really slows me down.
