delay on deleted domain

    I deleted my domain through WordPress, but I was hoping to pick it back up on squarespace. It still says unavailable. What is the delay time after deleting a domain for it to reappear as available?

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    It will take about a week for the domain to be released. Then you’ll be able to register it again through Squarespace.
