  Hi, I need to delete my web site. But if i click on tools -> delete, i receive: Warning! You cannot delete a site if it has a domain registration upgrade because you need access to the site in order to get to the domain manager. And if I click on domain manager, I receive: Oops, Nothing here! Maybe the following search results can help…

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the confusion! Your site http://gelateriakedy.wordpress.com/ has the custom domain name gelateriakedy.com. Do you also want to cancel that domain name?

  Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  If you’d like to keep the domain and use it somewhere else, you can transfer it instead: Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  Once the domain name is either cancelled or transferred to another registrar (or moved to a different WordPress.com site) you’ll be able to delete this site. Please let me know if you have any questions about that.

  Hi, I am sure, I want ti delete this blog, because the ice cream shop is closed. Can yoi help me to remove the domain http://gelateriakedy.wordpress.com/ ? Thanks a lot.

  Sure thing, thanks for confirming that. I cancelled the domain gelateriakedy.com for you.

  You can now delete the blog permanently under Tools > Delete Site in the dashboard. If you have any more trouble with that process, please let me know!
