Delete a ghost image from my Media

Goodmorning, I am currently working on a site but whenever I upload new images, they never show up on my pages due to a ‘ghost’ image which sits right at the top left of my Media Library. When I click on it it does not show where it is. I have deleted all my images from the ‘upload’ folder but still it doesn’t get removed. Is there a way to get rid of this problem?
