delete a registered domain

  I’ve just cancelled a domain jessicaphilo.com previously purchased with Godaddy. I’d like to renew the domain through WordPress but it’s telling me “The domain name you entered is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m seeing jessicaphilo.com still as being registered with GoDaddy.

  In general, we don’t encourage people to cancel their domain registration at their existing registrar. Doing so runs a serious risk of losing control of that domain. And at best, can take weeks before the domain is released from your previous registrar.
