Delete a website

  About 8 years ago (or more) I set up 4 websites with WordPress. I forgot about two of them and I now want to delete them. However, WordPress does not list them. How do I delete a website that I have no way to manage or delete them? The sites are still active since I can bring them up on the Internet.

  Hi there,

  There are not any sites under the account you are contacting us from. You must have another WorfPress.com in which the sites are under. If you log under the correct account, you should be able to deactivate them.

  This is the only account that I have used with WordPress. Is there any way I can register an active site with WordPress and then be able to manage it or delete it? Do you have any other suggestions as to how I can delete a website that I created but have lost the ability to manage it?

  The website I want to delete is YoungInsideSite.com

  Ah, YoungInsideSite.com is not hosted at WordPress.com but with Go Daddy. As such, we are unable to provide any direct assistance in this manner.

  The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.
