My Paypal account was charged without prior notice of a renewal. I would like to delete my account and all any payment methods associated with it.

Hi there,
You bought a Premium Plan on 30 June 2016. At that time you agreed to our terms of service which state that the upgrade will renew automatically in a year’s time. That is the payment that took place now.
We sent an email to the address on your account 30 days before the renewal to notify you that the upgrade was expiring and will renew automatically soon. If you didn’t receive that email it was likely filtered to the Social or Updates tab of your inbox, or it went to Spam.
If you didn’t want the upgrade to renew, you could have cancelled autorenew or the upgrade itself at any time. After the payment you could also have contacted us within 30 days to request a full refund. However, you instead disputed the charge with PayPal.
That means that payment is now frozen, and we are unable to refund it. You will only be refunded once PayPal concludes their investigation into this dispute, which can take anything from eight to twelve weeks.
Filing a dispute against us also results in your site being locked until you pay the chargeback fee, so you will not be able to make any changes to the site, including deleting it, until that fee is paid. You can see our full policy here.
If you withdraw your dispute with PayPal we might still be able to refund you and remove the chargeback fee from your site, but that depends on how far along they are with their investigation. Please let me know if you’ve withdrawn your dispute and I can try refunding you directly.
