Delete ALL ‘followed’ sites with extreme prejudice?

Somehow, someone hacked into my WordPress account (‘Reader’ section) and signed me up to ‘follow’ over 900 other sites. I want them ALL gone. How do I do this?

This has absolutely nothing to do with the “blog I need help with” listed above, by the way. Why WordPress thought it a good idea to automatically add that text to my post, I haven’t a clue.

Those sites were subscribed to 10 months ago.
The only way to unfollow them is via the Reader’s Manage screen, as it appears you have been doing.

Well, *I* didn’t subscribe to them 10 months ago. To the best of my recollection, I have never chosen to follow anyone or anything on WordPress. Is WordPress so insecure that sKriPt kIDdiES can get into it and do this sort of thing whenever they like?
Yes, I have manually, laboriously, removed a couple hundred of those bogus subscriptions, one at a time. It took me roughly an hour to do that much. That implies another three hours or so of work to remove them all.
If these were spam emails in any decent webmail client, deleting them all would be 4-5 clicks and about thirty seconds of my time, not several hours. There *really* needs to be some better way to do this built into the interface. I find it impossible to believe I’m the only user who has experienced this.

@beerslayer do you want to block all emails? You can do that if you’d like, either in the link in the email or under notifications.
https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptionsThese subscriptions were made from your account, so it’s not really a hack, though it does seem someone gained access to your account. Strange way for them to act out. I’m glad they didn’t do anything more destructive!
