Delete blog address fully…
-
I started a blog and by accident made a spelling error in the web address. I tried 10 ways to Sunday to change that spelling error in the actual blog address that everyone would see, with no results. So I deleted the blog, and tried to start a new one. It now seems my email address permanently attached to the original blog attempt, and forcing me to use the same account, with the same damn mispelled blog address, even though I have deleted the blog, and all its contents. Why am I stuck with that original address for a blog that no longer exists. I do not want to create a whole new email address just to create a new blog address spelled correctly? Help!

What is the URL starting with http:// for the blog you deleted please?
Without that we can’t even begin to help you. -
Is this it?
dimestoredivine.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog. -
you can have more than one blog per account / email address – there should be a ‘My Blogs” section in the gray nav bar at the top of the screen – go there and make a new blog address
-
http://dimestoredevine.wordpress.com
This is the deleted address. It was supposed to read Dimestoredivine, not devine.

As auxclass says, you should be able to add another blog to your current account. While logged in, head over to:
http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/
…and click the words “create another blog” in the left column.
Just let us know if you need further help.
