Delete file But still connect it

  I delete PDF file. I do not find it . I put new file , new file name is the same file deleted. New PDF file name is change other name .User can use old link, still connect file deleteed ，How can delete it old files.

  New Link :https://ytjworld.files.wordpress.com/2019/09/t0601s0707-4.pdf，
  New file name is t0601s0707.pdf but it is changed t0601s0707-4.pdf

  delete old pdf file name is t0601s0707.pdf
  old link https://ytjworld.files.wordpress.com/2019/09/t0601s0707.pdf
  i still link old pdf . I do not find t0601s0707.pdf in media folder

  Those files are no longer on our servers – I just get a page-not-found error when I try to view those links.

  Please clear your browser cache and history – it’s likely your browser is accessing a copy of those files stored locally in the browser itself.

  Also keep in mind that these files might be cached with search engines as well. We have no way to remove them from there.

  Yes you can delete anything from the media library. Just remember it also deletes it from the front end of your site. If you are updating that PDF then I’d suggest manually inserting the PDF back so it’s visible on the front end as well.
